Ready to pounce [Contest Finalists September 2012]
Uploaded: September 11, 2012 01:41:14
Izzy spotted some kind of little insect. Shortly after this she pounced and missed. She would be hopeless if she had to fend for herself. I have only seen her catch a bird once in two and a half years and even then she dropped it with excitement when she saw me and the bird flew off.

Oh, she looks like she means business...tensed and intense on her mission but I had to laugh at your commentary on her bird catching abilities! I have one like that, too - also a female who does all the appropriate stalking, gets close but in the long run doesn't have the finesse to do it right...thankfully. I'm rambling on here, Ann - let me congratulate you on an excellent portrait and wonderful Finalist of Izzy in (in)action!!! :) #10394062Connie J. Bagot October 30, 2012
